Micropigmentation is the revolutionary method of depositing hypoallergenic mineral pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. With an ultra-thin needle and pigment, the shape of the eyebrows is enhanced.
Micropigmentation can often get confused with normal tattoo but the pigments used for permanent makeup are introduced less deeply into the skin layer and have a different composition from tattoo inks. Micropigmentation devices are more refined than tattoo machines, and the techniques that are used are different.
Natural, soft or intense: are all possible with micropigmentation, no matter the skin type. Micropigmentation is performed with a refined digital device and 20 needle formations to choose from. The pigment penetrates the skin efficiently, which makes the pigment last longer. Specialized needle formations can create crisp, natural hair strokes for an amazing result. It is a misconception that a natural result can only be achieved by microblading!
Several shading techniques can be used with micropigmentation adding more depth and definition to the brows, so if you prefer a bolder looking brow or simply want to add a little shading to perfectly created hair strokes to give the appearance of makeup then micropigmentation is the choice for you!
Permanent makeup for lips are created by using micropigmentation. There are a number of colours to choose from and these can even be mixed together to create the shade you are looking for!

So what actually is microblading?
Microblading is the use of a hand tool with very fine needles configured into a blade shape, the procedure consists of scratching delicate hair strokes onto the surface of the skin, leaving the pigment on top.
Microblading is permanent makeup just like micropigmentation (see below), the difference is the pigment is implanted into the skin using a hand tool instead of a digital device.
Microblading is not recommended for those with oily or problematic skin, in these cases micropigmentation would be recommended.
